Nutkin Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Nutkin app. By using Nutkin, you agree to them.
1. What Nutkin is
Nutkin is a productivity app with a cosmetic idle-game layer. Acorns, golden acorns, buildings, cosmetics, and every other in-game item are entertainment with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the app, and they may be rebalanced as part of game updates (we tune rates and rules; we do our best never to take away things you have earned).
2. Your content
Your tasks and other content you create belong to you. They are stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your own backups using the app's export feature; except where required by law, we are not liable for loss of locally stored data (for example, if your device is lost or the app is deleted).
3. Subscriptions (Nutkin Plus)
If offered, Nutkin Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Price and term are shown in the app before purchase. Manage or cancel any time in your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Plus benefits are cosmetic and convenience features; core productivity features remain free.
4. Fair use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer non-open components, or use the app in violation of law. The app contains anti-cheat measures for the game economy (e.g., clock-change handling); circumventing them may cause the game state to behave unexpectedly, which is on you.
5. Intellectual property
The Nutkin app, its characters, art, names, and design are the property of Koryoku Labs LLC. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app; no other rights are granted.
6. Disclaimers
Nutkin is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD $10. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Nutkin is a productivity aid, not medical, psychological, or professional advice.
7. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be noted in the app with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We may discontinue the app or features with reasonable notice where practicable. You can stop using Nutkin at any time by deleting the app.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to your local courts.
