Nutkin Support
We're glad to help. The fastest way to reach us is from inside Nutkin: open Settings and tap Report an issue or share an idea. Your message arrives with your app version and device details (never your tasks), so we can help without a lot of back and forth. You can also email support@nutkinapp.com.
Common questions
Do my tasks leave my phone?
Only if you sign in. As a guest, your list stays on your phone, and Nutkin backs up only your colony (acorns, buildings, achievements and the things you own). Once you link Apple or Google, your list syncs through your account, so it's on every device where you sign in. Only your account can read it, and it's never used for analytics or ads. The Privacy Policy has the details.
How do I keep my colony if I get a new phone?
On your current phone, open Settings → Account & sync and link Apple (iPhone) or Google. On the new phone, tap Login on the first screen and sign in with the same account. Your colony and your list come back.
I subscribed to Nutkin Plus, but I don't have it.
Open Settings → Restore purchases while you're signed in to the Apple ID or Google account you paid with. If Plus still doesn't appear, send us a message from the app and tell us roughly when you subscribed.
How do I cancel or change Nutkin Plus?
Apple and Google run the subscription, so you change or cancel it with them. On iPhone: the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Nutkin. On Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Nutkin. While Plus is active, Nutkin's Settings also shows Manage subscription, which takes you there. Deleting the app or your Nutkin account doesn't cancel it.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too. For the App Store, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, request a refund through Google Play, or contact us and we'll help.
How do friends work?
Every player has a friend code. Share yours from your squirrel's tab (the Friends card, then Share my code) or from Settings → Invite friends. You're connected once you've both added each other's code. Friends see only your friend code, never your name or your tasks, and you can send each friend one of six preset notes a day. To remove or block someone, open your friends list.
How do invite gifts work?
Share your link from Settings → Invite friends. When a friend adds you within two days of starting Nutkin, they get a welcome gift: the Welcome Bouquet and 500 acorns. When they finish their first task, you get a Friendship gift: the Friendship Pin for your first friend, the Friendship Scarf for your second and the Friendship Wreath for your den for your third. Friendship gifts are never sold in the shop.
What happens if I take a break?
Nothing is lost. Your colony keeps gathering for up to 48 hours while you're away. If its energy runs low, it naps at 10% speed, and finishing a task wakes it right up. To freeze everything (streak, energy and acorns), turn on Pause mode in Settings.
Notifications aren't showing up.
In Nutkin, open Settings and tap Enable if you see the notifications banner, then choose the ones you want under Preferences. Also check that notifications for Nutkin are allowed in your phone's settings.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings → Delete account & data. It works for guest accounts too. This deletes your account and what we store on our servers: your colony backup, your synced list, friend code, friends, notes, invite records and feedback messages. It also erases your colony and tasks on this phone, and Nutkin starts over as a new player. Deleting your account doesn't cancel Nutkin Plus, so cancel it with Apple or Google first.
To remove everything from your phone, delete the app. No longer have the app? Ask us by email.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Ask us from the app or by email, and we'll send you what we store for your account.
Something looks broken. How do I tell you?
Open Settings → Report an issue or share an idea, and tell us what you were doing; the app adds the technical details. If Nutkin closed unexpectedly, it offers the form the next time you open it. Many fixes arrive without a store update, so Settings → Check for updates is worth a tap too.
